With the growing crime rates in the city suburbs leader have begun a strategy to mobile youths with organisations and tournaments to curb the crime.
For the last one week self help groups came together for a football match in Kware Ward courtesy of area Mp Julius Mawathe.
The football match was to eradicate crime by encouraging young people to join self help groups and to help conserve the environment in the constituency.
The event was intended to bring people together.Twelve local teams played in the event with Mukuru Talent and Kware Divas winning first and second place and taking home Kshs 50,000 and 30,000 respectively.
The area Member of Parliament also seemed disappointed claiming that land that was allocated for the youth to play football was grabbed by former MP Sumra.
He claimed that the former area legislator Hon Sumra had constructed Swaminarayan Academy.The MP swore to take back grabbed land and give it back to the public.
This is among many events that the MP has including one to open a school at the end of this month.
